Knipper and Company, Inc. announced today the launch of a new Adherence and Persistency Program (APP) designed for use by pharmaceutical manufacturers to assist consumer/patients to more effectively manage the use of their prescription medications. The APP, a compliance initiative, has a Patient Reminder KitTM, which includes a patented Patient Remind Cap®. Preliminary studies indicate that patient use of the Patient Remind Cap®, a key component of the program, may increase patient usage of medications by 15-25% for patients who forget or neglect to take their medications on a timely basis.
