LAKEWOOD and PARSIPPANY, NJ – October 11, 2004
Marianne Mecke, a vice president of J. Knipper and Company, Inc., will lead a workshop on crisis management at CBI’s 4th Annual Forum on Pharmaceutical Contact Centers, January 27-28, 2005 in Philadelphia.
Mecke’s workshop is titled Contact Center Contingency Planning and Crisis Management. It will cover issues including advance planning, managing stress in the contact center, dealing with the media and developing and communicating key messages.
“Marianne is a very popular speaker on crisis management,” said James J. Knipper, president of the pharmaceutical marketing services company. “She has more than 20 years experience, and she’s one of the reasons our company is a leader in handling crisis management in the healthcare industry.”
Mecke is the executive leader of Knipper’s crisis intervention SWAT team, which handles numerous regulatory and market actions each year, including FDA warnings, recalls, withdrawals and product corrections.
Assisting her in the conference workshop will be Karen Wheat, a program manager and team leader at J. Knipper & Co. Wheat manages and is responsible for the development and daily operation of all Teleservices projects and the frontline management of crisis situations.
Knipper is an executive sponsor of the CBI conference, which is designed to help the pharmaceutical industry maximize the value of its contact centers. Attendees will hear case studies from prominent pharmaceutical companies and have the chance to network.
