- Knipper’s Latest Strategic Alliance Helps Attract New Pharma Customers
-
LAKEWOOD, NJ – January 30, 2006
James J. Knipper, President/CEO, J. Knipper and Company, announced that the company has contracted with multiple companies who wish to leverage Knipper’s strategic alliance with Synergistix Inc., a full-service technology company that also exclusively supports the life science industry through its specialization in the development of CRM and SFA software.
In a joint statement by James J. Knipper and Synergistix President Don Schenker, it was made known that the non-exclusive strategic alliance has been in place since the middle of 2005, offering small and mid-sized pharmaceutical companies the fully integrated benefits of both companies. Since that time, the alliance has been validated by the implementation of three new customers who are utilizing the full suite of services offered by Knipper and Synergistix.
“With Synergistix providing the Customer Relationship Management/Sales Force Automation solutions, and J. Knipper and Company delivering high-quality solutions supporting sample shipments, prescriber validation and sample accountability, customers are getting everything they need with these linked systems in order to maintain PDMA compliance,” stated Mr. Knipper.
Mr. Schenker pointed out that as well as the technical aspects, the customer support line is also integrated, allowing automatic and seamless routing between the two companies. “If your reps and managers need help with front-end CRM/SFA systems, the call will be routed to the Synergistix help desk. If you need help with sample accountability systems, you’re routed to Knipper,” he said. “Having these traditionally disparate systems integrated and accessible by individual pharmaceutical sales reps is obviously a significant benefit to our current and prospective customers.”
Mr. Knipper concurred, “The alliance between our two companies creates a seamless integration of front- and back-end validating and reporting technology for our common customers.” He cited Synergistix’ flagship product, the Call Activity Tracking System (CATS), a software suite designed specifically for sales representatives and managers in addressing PDMA compliance issues. CATS is a field-based data capture tool with management reporting for automating, managing and monitoring sales force activity.”
Mr. Knipper explained that his company provides a full range of state-of-the-art support systems for sample accountability, adding, “Our alliance has established common business rules, which are constantly being reviewed to avoid costly system conflicts. Communications between our two companies are ongoing. Customers gain the advantage of common support and service resources, including the help desk with call routing, as well as detailed training in both the Knipper and Synergistix systems.”
“Strong business alliances serve as a key competitive advantage,” Mr. Knipper stated. “Ensuring strict compliance to FDA and DEA mandates in providing comprehensive sample fulfillment support for pharmaceutical, biotech and other healthcare customers is a responsibility we live by, night and day. Achieving this goal with a 21st century CRM/SFA software specialist like Synergistix is a natural. It makes sense across the board."
Mr. Knipper and Mr. Schenker concurred that they share the spirit of the entrepreneur and therefore, their companies share a similar vision and culture.
“We are always looking for ways to facilitate for our customers a balance between mastering the complexities of staying in compliance with their objectives to earn robust business results, including unit profitability. Our ability to provide customers with a single source for services that include CRM/SFA and sample accountability is an important milestone,” concluded Mr. Knipper.
