LAKEWOOD, NJ — Michael J. Laferrera is joining J. Knipper and Company, Inc. in the newly-formed position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, effective September 1, 2008. J. Knipper and Company, Inc. is known throughout the healthcare industry for developing and delivering smart, effective, and efficient commercial solutions for its clients. As a member of Knipper’s top management team, Mr. Laferrera, age 40, will play a key role in expanding Knipper’s core capabilities. “We believe that not only our clients but we as a company will benefit from Mike’s entrepreneurial skills and experience,” says Jim Knipper, CEO of J. Mr. Laferrera comes to Knipper with a track record of excellence in the pharmaceutical industry. His previous experience includes management positions at Ortho Dermatological, Galderma Laboratories, Nelson Communications (Publicis Healthcare Communications Group) and most recently as Vice President of Marketing and Commercial Planning at Barrier Therapeutics, Inc. Mr. Laferrera was recently recognized as a “Brand Champion” for his leadership in developing, positioning, and launching three dermatology and pediatric brands in the United States and internationally.
