At Knipper, we understand that accessing data in real time is a prerequisite for doing business today. We develop, maintain, and validate our applications to give clients the data they need, when they need it.

Application Development and Support

The Knipper Information Solutions team is experienced in developing and implementing custom Web applications for sales-rep fulfillments (including literature, premium items, and product), as well as direct-to-consumer and direct-to-patient Web sites and custom nurse-ordering portals.

We create and maintain online, secure Web reporting including: automated Excel spreadsheet generation, drill-down capabilities to view scanned form images, and remote data entry.

Knipper supports all major development environments, including the Microsoft development platform, Microsoft.net, asp.net, vb.net, vbscript, javascript, html, xml, dhtml, coldfusion, and flash. We also offer connectivity from and into all major CRM applications, including Siebel and Oracle.

AMA Database Licensee

As one of a handful of AMA database licensees, we receive source-level data from the AMA, including all physician demographics (MD and DOs), DEA file, state license information, and group practice information.

We receive and apply weekly transactional updates to the master database for quick turnaround time to customers.

We can deliver simple, automated streams of AMA data to customers in custom formats at predefined frequencies. We can also deliver more sophisticated prescriber databases, based upon predefined rules and fully cross-referenced records.

Knipper also provides sophisticated matching and validation of prescribers based upon this robust foundation.

Database Management

Our database management is based upon Microsoft SQL Server and is the backbone of our IS and operational systems.

We standardize, cleanse, identify, validate, and cross-reference data, and manage prescriber, consumer, or rep information in sophisticated databases for our customers.

Standardization begins and is maintained by detailed file-interface agreements with business rules defined at the field-record level, and includes intricate file-confirmation processes.
