Knipper and Veeva Host Gala Event

Sep 12, 2012

Washington, DC — September 20, 2012 — Continuing their long standing relationship with the PDMA Alliance, J. Knipper and Company was a proud signature sponsor of the 2012 PDMA Sharing Conference held at the Gaylord National Hotel in National Harbor, Maryland on September 19th – 21st . Held annually, the conference attracted approximately 300 Pharmaceutical Compliance Professionals who were looking to continue their knowledge and understanding with the Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA) as it relates to several key topics such as: Sampling Strategies, Fraud & Abuse, Aggregate Spend, The Sunshine Act, State Laws and Reporting. By request of the PDMA, Knipper was honored to present together with client Bayer on the subject of “Utilizing Mock Inspections and Vendor Assessments to Strengthen PDMA Best Practices”.

With the acquisition of Pharmagistics in December 2010, J. Knipper and Company expanded presence in Healthcare Marketing Distribution and Pharmaceutical Sampling Services becoming the largest dedicated pharmaceutical industry samples management company in the country. With this combined strength in sample accountability and the highest volume of direct sample services over the past quarter century, J.Knipper and Company executives were pleased to be able to share experiences and knowledge with many of the Compliance Professionals who attended the conference.

Partnering with Veeva Systems, J. Knipper and Company had the opportunity to host a very special evening event at the Daughters of the American Revolution National Headquarters and Museum in Washington DC, entertaining many key clients and pharmaceutical professionals who were attending the conference. The special evening included a cocktail and dinner reception on an outdoor patio overlooking the Washington Monument. A harpist played throughout the event as guided tours of the museum provided attendees with a host of exhibits including items dating back as far as 1890.
