Champ Burgess

Champ Burgess is President of Pharmacy Services at Knipper Health, with deep expertise in pharmacy operations, healthcare strategy, and innovation.

Before joining Knipper, he served as Vice President of Health System Strategy at Shields Health Solutions, where he expanded specialty pharmacy services in partnership with leading national health systems. His previous experience includes serving as Vice President and Chief Pharmacy Officer at University Hospitals, overseeing system-wide pharmacy operations and driving innovation through UH Ventures.

Champ holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from East Carolina University.
